Collection: The Rings

Aside from using gemstones, this collection offers pieces that also feature vintage elements. In various trips to different places in the world, a recollection of various materials comes together in these necklaces.

One of the house’s favorites, it features a vintage hand painted and laminated hieroglyphic image with dedication note from Egypt, copper chain, and the rest of the necklace is all delicate handwork with pliers with gold plated wire. Length can be adjusted. Handmade in New York con amor.

A mixed media piece with a second necklace resembling a rosary. It features vintage silver Saint charms, Swarovski pink crystals from New York, pink and white cultured pearls, chaquiras from Southern Mexico, copolymer fishing line, and handmade flowers with silver plated wire. Atlantis

Crystals under the sea, this necklace is made with pink Tourmaline, red wood circles, hand-blown glass, laminated silver wire, featuring a laminated playing card of the traditional game “Loteria” (Mexican Bingo) of La Sirena. Handmade in Brooklyn con amor.

San Miguel

Fly me to the moon….and to Mexico!! This necklace features a laminated playing card from the traditional game “Loteria” (Mexican Bingo), a blue bubblegum shaped wood bead, a pewter Saint charm, a piece of chewing gum “Canels”, turquoise quartz and silver chain. Handmade in Brooklyn con amor.

Trickeries are fun! This necklace features a laminated playing card of the traditional game “Loteria” (Mexican Bingo), a Guatemalan “quitapenas” doll*, colored wood beads, obsidian quartz and hand crafted gold plated wire. Handmade in Brooklyn con amor.

*Worry dolls are a traditional miniature Guatemalan doll that children who cannot sleep due to worrying can express their worries to the doll and place it under their pillow before going to sleep

This is definitely a gladiator piece. It feautures a vintage shell spear with pink shiny shadows from Paris, Mexican chaquiras, copolymer fishing line, round picture jasper wrapped with silver plated wire, and twine. Handmade in New York con amor.

Acapulco

Who doesn’t love Mexican beaches? This necklace is inspired by them made of black chain, multicolor Mexican “azulejo” beads (mini ceramic tilework), giant seeds, a hand painted wood piece with a sunset and best of all, a 50 cent Mexican copper coin.
